Alice R. Rollins 1934 - 2022

Guilford – Alice R. Rollins, 87, passed away February 25, 2022, at Hibbard Nursing Home, Dover-Foxcroft. She was born October 31, 1934, in Guilford, the daughter of Kenneth and Hazel (Welts) Ruland. Alice worked for many years at Ross Drug Store in Guilford. She also was a member of the Carpo Club, the Abaris Club, and served as secretary for the Hospital Auxiliary at Mayo Regional Hospital. Alice was happy to serve as a eucharist minister for Holy Family Catholic Church in Sangerville. She was a wealth of knowledge, had a big heart, was very generous, and had the ability to overcome adversity with humor. Alice had an affinity for animals. She also enjoyed cooking for friends and family and she loved family gatherings. Alice is survived by two sons, Frank A. and his wife, Donna, and Robert T.; two daughters, Mary Kay Santoro and her husband, Bill, and Jennifer R. Mulherin and her partner, Richard Andrews; a brother, Warren Ruland and his wife, Gail; two grandsons, Sean and Brendon Mulherin and his partner, Meranda; two great-granddaughters, Grace Alice and Ellie Lynn; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, George W. Rollins; and her parents. A graveside memorial will be held at a later date in the family lot in Elmwood Cemetery, Guilford.
