SANGERVILLE—Judy (Edgerly) Williams, 80, died January 14, 2018 after a long illness.

She was born in Sangerville June 6, 1937, a daughter of Lloyd and Marion (Clark) Edgerly. Judy lived her entire life in Sangerville, where she proudly raised her five sons. She was a lifelong member of the South Sangerville Grange. Judy was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her sons, Vance and wife Jane McNaughton of Ripley, Ralph and wife Diana McNaughton of Newport, Bruce McNaughton of Westbrook, Clark and wife Karen McNaughton of Charleston, Brett and wife Jenny McNaughton of Sarasota, FL; a sister, Patricia Colbry of Sangerville; a brother, Rodney and wife Bev Edgerly of Guilford; 7 grandchildren, Adam and wife Lindsay, Brandon and wife Kim, Mark and wife Jessika, Michael and wife Danielle, Scott, Cassidy and Samantha; 11 great grandchildren, Taylor, Emma, Lucas, Ryan, Samantha, William, Wyatt, Waverly, Brian, Haylee and Ryleigh.

It was Judy’s wish to donate her body for scientific research in the hope of helping others. At her request, there will be no services.

Judy’s family wishes to thank the staff at Sebasticook Valley Hospital for the care and compassion provided to Judy throughout the years. Memorial donations may be made to the Sangerville Fire Department, P. O. Box 188, Sangerville, ME 04479. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
